Light
: The Japanese Box most prefer partial shade to full sun conditions since more lights will result in more dense foliage structure. However, to avoid scorching top leaves in summer, the best condition is partially shade areas outdoors.
Water
: For the offspring, usually in the first two years, maintain a regular deep watering schedule every week. Keep the soil consistently moist but not over logging, and avoid shallow watering.
Mature trees require deep watering every two to four weeks.
