CARE GUIDE:
Light : Best grown in ample direct sunlight daily or partially shaded condition. They can also live indoors with lots of natural indirect sunlight 4-5 hours daily.
Water : Water the plant once a week and keep the soil evenly moist, let the top soil dry out completely before the next watering session. Since the plant is generally drought-tolerant, overwatering or waterlogging should be strictly avoided. Reduced watering in cooler months
The magnolia tree also benefits from occasional deep watering during prolonged dry spells, specifically in summer.
Temperature and humidity : Prefer medium to high humidity with warmer temperatures. Can tolerate summer heat or winter cold but should not be exposed to cold weather for extended periods of time.
Food : Apply a slow-release fertilizer formulated for acid-loving plants in early spring, just before new growth begins. Follow the package instructions for the recommended amount. Avoid excessive use of nitrogen-rich fertilizers, as they can promote lush foliage at the expense of flower production. No food is needed in winter.
